Today’s Planetary Transit Report
In Vedic astrology, a planetary transit describes the apparent movement of a planet through the zodiac over time. Astrologers compare these changing positions with a birth chart to explore traditional interpretations relating to personal priorities, relationships, work, learning and other areas of life.
Use the report below to enter the requested birth and transit details. Check that the date, time and other information you provide are accurate before reviewing the results.
What Can You Learn from a Transit Report?
- Planetary positions: See the positions used by the report for the selected date and settings.
- Transit interpretation: Explore how Vedic astrology traditionally interprets a planet’s movement in relation to a birth chart.
- Birth-chart context: Understand why astrologers consider the natal chart, houses and other chart factors rather than interpreting one planetary position alone.
- Timing: Compare results for different dates when you want to understand how the reported planetary positions change.
Transit interpretations are part of a traditional astrological framework. They are not scientifically established predictions of events, and different astrological methods may produce different interpretations.

Why Can Transit Results Differ?
Results may differ when the selected date, birth time, location, time zone, zodiac convention or calculation method changes. If you compare reports, use consistent settings wherever possible. A birth time that is unknown or approximate can also affect some chart-based interpretations.
